Bat Booster! At the Obsidian Gallery in St. Phillips Plaza

A lively crowd gathered at the Obsidian Gallery for a tribute to Cele Peterson, a strong supporter of this project since it’s inception. Guests were able to view environmental art, jewelry and glassware. A poetry reading marked the kick-off of the upcoming September 11th Bat Night. Food was provided by Vivace and Acacia.

The Rillito River Project started in January 2007 with an an international group of artists, architects, musicians, writers, builders, and anthropologists gathered in the dry Rillito riverbed to explore, discuss, learn, and collectively interpret through creative expression the whispered prose of the dry riverbed.
